The U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing has been desperate to get its new Boeing 787 'Dreamliner' into the hands of many airlines who have preordered it. Its delivery has been delayed, though, by production problems and quality control issues. In the meantime, Airbus Industries has recovered from production issues with its new A380 super jumbo jetliner and begun to get the plane into the hands of a couple of different overseas airlines. It also promises to fly at least 555 people in a two-class configuration economically and efficiently. Can Boeing win back the momentum with its 787 Dreamliner? Only time will tell.
